What is the Definition of AKA?


The term AKA is the abbreviation for the Anglo-Saxon expression Also Know As, whose Spanish translation means “also known as.

The expression AKA is used to indicate the meaning, pseudonym or best-known name of a person. Generally, it is mentioned when you have to present a famous person or who is part of the entertainment world, in which his alias has gained more popularity or fame than his own name.

Several examples can be cited with the intention of a better understanding for the given definition, such as Marshall Bruce Mathers III, AKA Eminem; Armando Christian Uria Ruiz Pérez, AKA Pitbull; Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, AKA Lady Gaga, among others.
